Your family member may have some questions about how we operate and what they can expect if they decide to tell their life story.
Our Welcome Pack is a free no-obligation pack to help explain what we do and how we do it. You can download the information here, or we can mail it to your family member on your behalf along with a personal letter, an FAQ and a card. It’s all beautifully wrapped up with a pen and notebook to get started.

We set up our first meeting at a time and place that’s convenient for your family member. We can also use the telephone or video technology such as Skype or Zoom to connect. At that meeting, we take the time to introduce ourselves and get to know them. We also set up a time and place for our regular interviews that works for them.
We conduct a series of one-on-one interviews. Each interview can last up to two hours, but we go at their pace and rhythm. We offer up to 14 hours of interviews to make sure we capture the stories that your family member wants included in their family history book.
As we move along in the interview process, we also take the time to review the content with them. We want your family member to be 100% satisfied with their family history book.
As we listen to their story, they will start to think about which photographs they want included. Once they have made their selection of up to 15 photos, we will take the original photos to our business partner, who is responsible for digitizing and enhancing where required. This process generally takes about 5 to 10 business days. We will return the originals and offer them copies of the digital images.
At this point, your family member will have a copy of their family history book including photographs to review before going to print. All they need to do is select the cover photo and have a final review.
You will receive one beautiful hard-cover book of your family history, plus an online PDF copy that you can share with family and friends. Your memories will last a lifetime.
